Our club members shoot at Ye Olde Gun Club every Wednesday, starting at 9:45 AM. Members of STJRPA & Ye Olde Gun Club (YOGC) shoot free. Members of STJRPA, but NOT YOGC shoot for $10.00 on that day only and it is payable to YOGC.
The range is located at 4000 Committee Drive, Southport, NC 28461. Click here for google map. Rain on the day of, or prior day, may result in cancellation due to road conditions.
Trap and Skeet events on Thursdays at 10:00am (9:00am during the summer months) are at Roan's Branch Preserve, 635 Green Lewis Road, Bolivia, NC (map and directions). Trap costs $7 per round of 25 birds and no provision for non members. There is no admission or guest fee. All shooters must print out and complete the Universal Waiver form before shooting. Rain on day of, or day prior to, will result in cancellation due to road conditions to trap field.
For all events, bring guns, ammo, & ear/eye protection. Please note that all events are subject to cancellation or venue change because of weather. Get on our email list, using the "Contact Us" tab above, to be advised of last minute changes.

As of April 1, 2024, we will not be accepting any more members in 2024. Hopefully, our next intake will be in 2025. That said, if you would like to hold your place on our wait list, click here (or JOIN, above) and follow the instructions. A completed application will hold your place on our wait list. Do not send any other documentation or any money at this time.
