We now shoot rifle and pistol on Tuesdays @ 10AM.  Paper and steel targets are available.

The next open trap shoot will be held on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at 9 AM weather permitting.  Rain day of or day prior will result in cancellation due to road conditions to  trap field.

Most trap and skeet events are now held at Roan's Branch Preserve, 635 Green Lewis Road, Bolivia, NC (map and directions). Trap costs $5/round for members and $7.50/round for non-members. There is no admission or guest fee. Non-member shooters are WELCOME and we encourage you to invite friends to come out and give it a try. All shooters must print out and complete the Waiver & Release form before shooting.

All rifle and pistol events are held at Ye Old Gun Club  in Southport. Non-members of Ye Old Gun Club are subject to a $25 daily fee.

For all events, bring guns, ammo, & ear/eye protection. Ammo is available for sale, if needed. Please note that events are subject to cancellation or venue change because of weather. Get on our email list, using the "Contact Us" tab above,  to be advised of last minute changes in schedules.

Roberta and George Pappayliou, members of the St James Rifle and Pistol Association, swept the NC State Trap Championships in June 2016. Roberta walked away with Champion wins in NC Doubles Class Championship Lady II, NC High All Around Lady II, NC High Overall All Lady II, and Runner Up in NC Singles Her husband George won Championships in NC Sub-Veteran Doubles, Sub Veteran Handicap and Sub Veteran High All-Around.
